ชาร์ลผู้อาจหาญ (ฝรั่งเศส: Charles le Téméraire; อังกฤษ: Charles the Bold) หรือ ชาลส์เดอะแรช (10 พฤศจิกายน ค.ศ. 1433 - 5 มกราคม ค.ศ. 1477) เป็นขุนนางชาวฝรั่งเศส ผู้เป็นบุตรของฟิลลิปเดอะกูดและอินฟันตาอิซาเบลลาแห่งโปรตุเกส เมื่อแรกเกิดได้รับชื่อว่า “ชาร์ล มาร์แต็ง” ต่อมามีบรรดาศักดิ์เป็นดยุกแห่งบูร์กอญ ระหว่างปี ค.ศ. 1467 ถึงปี ค.ศ. 1477

ชาร์ลผู้อาจหาญได้รับฉายาว่า "ชาลส์ผู้โหดร้าย" (Charles the Terrible) จากผู้เป็นศัตรู และเป็นสมาชิกคนสุดท้ายของราชวงศ์วาลัวดยุกแห่งบูร์กอญ การสิ้นพระชนม์ก่อนเวลาอันสมควรของชาร์ลเป็นจุดเปลี่ยนแปลงอันสำคัญของประวัติศาสตร์ยุโรปที่มักจะมองข้ามกันไป

หลังจากการเสียชีวิตของชาร์ลแล้วดัชชีบูร์กอญก็เริ่มเสื่อมสลายลงไปและในที่สุดก็ถูกแบ่งแยกกันระหว่างฝรั่งเศสกับฮาพส์บวร์ค (ผู้ที่กลายเป็นทายาทของชาร์ลผู้อาจหาญโดยการสมรสกับบุตรีแมรีแห่งบูร์กอญ) แต่ทั้งสองฝ่ายต่างก็ไม่พอใจในการแบ่งแยกซึ่งทำให้กลายเป็นชนวนของความขัดแย้งของฝักฝ่ายต่าง ๆ ของดินแดนบูร์กอญในยุโรปตะวันตกอีกต่อมากว่าสองร้อยปี

Catherine of France (1428 – 13 July 1446) was a French princess and a countess of Charolais, the first wife of Charles the Bold, dying before he came to be Duke of Burgundy, when she was his wife he was Count of Charolais. Betrothed to Charles per the terms of the Treaty of Arras, she was married in 1440, when she was 12 and her husband 7. She fell ill and died in 1446.

Isabella of Bourbon, Countess of Charolais (c. 1434 – 25 September 1465) was the second wife of Charles the Bold, Count of Charolais and future Duke of Burgundy. She was a daughter of Charles I, Duke of Bourbon and Agnes of Burgundy, and the mother of Mary of Burgundy, heiress of Burgundy.

Margareta von York, englisch Margaret of York (* 3. Mai 1446 in Fotheringhay Castle, Northamptonshire, England; † 23. November 1503 in Mechelen, Burgundische Niederlande), war als dritte Gattin Karls des Kühnen Herzogin von Burgund.
